General information. Mountains in Kyrgyzstan occupy more than 65% of the country, 90% of them have attitudes more than 1500 m.a.s.l. That’s why there is a big choice of heliskiing districts with different attitude and relief in Kyrgyzstan. We offer the closest skiing area to Bishkek (Kyrgyz range, West Tien-Shan). Skiing/snowboarding is offered in Tien-Shan Mountains, Kyrgyz range (Ala-Archa national nature park, West Karakol, Susamyr) just 40-150 km from Bishkek – capital of Kyrgyzstan at the altitude of 2500 m. Amplitude drop of downhill is up to 100 m, the length is as long as up to 6 km.
How to get to ski area. It’s necessary to fly to international airport in Bishkek (a capital of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan). Asia Adventures representatives will meet you in the airport and transfer to the mountain hotel (50 km., 1 hour).

The standard lunch menu: Hot beef or chicken broth, cold boiled meat or chicken, sausage, cheese, smoked meat, tomatoes, cucumbers, biscuits, chocolate, sweets, hot tea, coffee, mineral water, apples, oranges.
Accommodation. Usually base hotel for the program is mountain skiing base “Kashka-Su” located at the picturesque mountain gorge 35 km far from Bishkek at the altitude of 1700 m.a.s.l. Accommodation in double, triple rooms of mountain cabins, shower and toilet is on the one floor of the cabin. There are dinner hall with the fireplace, sauna, skating ring, two seats rope way with the skiing area of 1500 m length on the base. Helicopter is based on the territory of the base. Also you can live in the hotels of Bishkek, but in this case every day you should get to helicopter by car (provided by our company) from 40 to 50 min, depending on the road condition. An additional cost for it is 90USD/person. Last day heliskiers accommodate in Bishkek in “Asia Mountains” hotel.
Snow condition and weather. Snow condition allows providing heliskiing/heliboarding programs in the period from the second half of January till the end of March. Usually snow level is 1,5 – 2 m in the beginning of skiing season. Everywhere snow is soft, fresh and fluffy. For the middle of March and April snow is spring, but even in this time on some snow slopes you can enjoy soft and fluffy snow. The temperature is depending on the skiing areas and is from -15oC to -5 oC
We use "MI-8 MTB" helicopters, made in Russia. Maximum size of a group is 16 persons with skiing equipment. Pilots have 15-18 years flight experience, know well heliskiing areas and distinctive features of flights in the mountains. A group is accompanied by at least two guides. There is necessary life saving equipment, GPS.
Program in case of bad weather. In case of bad weather guests can ski by themselves or be accompanied by guides on mountain skiing base. We also can offer city tours to Bishkek, where you can have entertainment as you wish: museums, restaurants, bars, casinos and night clubs.
Ski equipment. Skiers (snowboarders) should have all necessary equipment and clothes for heliskiing programs, including avalanche radio beacons ("beepers"), avalanche bores and avalanche spades. There is a possibility of equipment rent by preordered requests.
Insurance is required for skiers with the amount of 15 thousands USD in case of health injury or accident.
Flight guarantee and refund. The company guarantees you 10 flight hours (including fly up/departure of helicopter Bishkek – base – Bishkek – 1,5 hours). It allows performing up to 15-18 vertical km downhill. If in case of bad weather the flight time is less that 10 hours we will return you 2800 USD for every missed flight hour.
After guaranteed 10 hours finished. If the group would like to continue the program, an additional payment will be 2800 USD for every additional flight hour.
Age limits. Minimum age for heliskiing/snowboarding – 18 years, but it can be down to 14, if child will be accompanied by parents.
