Fann Mountains are unique area of Pamir-Alay, a highland of crystal lakes, edge of transcendental peaks and ancient legends. The picturesque valleys, magnificent by their beauty necklaces of Kulikalon and Alautdin lakes, fantastically beautiful glaciers and attractive Chimtarga, Chapdara, Big Hansa, Kaznok mountain peaks - it is really possible to leave a heart in this heavenly places. After fascinating travel to mountains an excursion to ancient fantastic cities of Central Asia: Samarkand and Bukhara, with their exotic oriental markets and majestic architectural masterpieces are waiting for you. The best time for travel is the period from July to September.

| Day 1
|
Arrival to Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Rest. In the afternoon – excursion along the city.

| Day 2
|
Transfer to Samarkand (350 km, 5 h). On road crossing the Syrdarya River valley and Djizakh Steppes. After lunch – excursion along the city. Sightseeing: Registan Square - the "heart" of Samarkand - ensemble of 3 majestic madrassahs (XIV-XVI c.c.) – Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tillya Qory, Bibi-Khanum the gigantic congregational mosque (XV c.).

| Day 3
|
Transfer Samarkand - Djartepa Check-point (Uzbek-Tajik border) - Penjikent - "Artuch" alpinist base (110 km, 5 h). Rest and preparation for active part of trek. Overnight in chalets (2200 m).

| Day 4
|
Starting active part of trek. Ascend along the good path to Kulikalon Lakes (10 km, +700 m, 5 h). On road there is an opportunity to admire a wonderful panorama of majestic Kulikalon walls with (Adamtash, Mirali, Rudaki, etc.) transcendental summits from more than 4500 m height, Kulikalon Lakes (totally 14 lakes) with the purest emerald-blue water. Camp at a shore of one of 14 Kulikalon Lakes, 2800-2900 m.a.s.l.

| Day 5
|
Ascent on Alautdin Pass (3860 m) and descent to Alautdin Lakes (6 km, 6 h, +900 m, -950 m). During the long ascent one can observe a panorama of Kulikalon Lakes, Chapdara Peak (5197 m) and the Valley of Chapdara River, bowls of amazing Alautdin Lakes with light blue to ultramarine waters. Camp at the lake shore (2900 m).

| Day 6
|
One day walking to Mutnoye (Muddy) Lake (8 km, 5 h, 800 m). View on Kaznok (4 200 m), Zamok (5070 m), Energy (5105 m) and Chimtarga (5489 m) panoramas, sliding glaciers and abrupt rocks, small lake nicknamed for its round form "Piala".

| Day 7
|
Ascent on Laudan Pass (3630 m) and descent to Kulikalon Lakes. (12 km, +750 m, 4,5 h,-850 m, 2 h). Descent from pass by wide path. All day panoramas of surrounding mountains in all beauty: the Valley of Pasrud River, Chapdara Peak east slopes, the Valley of Jagnob River, Kulikalon wall and topmost crest of Chimtarga Peak beyond it, Paryshah Peak (4650 m). Camp at Kulikalon Lake shore (2800 m).

| Day 8
|
Kulikalon – Zimtut passage. Ascent on Chukurak Pass (3180 m) and descend to Chukurak Lake and Gujtan Pass (2600 m) through fir-tree groves. Descent to the Gorge of Gujtan River and further to picturesque Guytan settlement, from which there is a half an hour way to the Valley of Achimajdan River and further to Zimtut settlement (11 km, +400 m, 3 h,-1000 m, 3 h). On road stops to meet the shepherds on summer pastures. Ayran, yoghurt, round bread and tea tasting. Dinner and overnight stay in local house (1500 m).

| Day 9
|
Transfer Zimtut - Penjikent – Djartepa Tajik-Uzbek border - Samarkand (110 km, ~ 5 h).

| Day 10
|
Sightseeing: Guri-Emir mausoleum of Timur, his sons and Ulugbek the grandson (XV c.), well-known ruler and astronomer-scientist Ulugbek’s observatory (1420 y.) - remains of immense (30 m. tall) astrolabe for observing stars positions, Shakhi-Zinda – "The Living King" (XI-XVIII c.c.) necropolis of Samarkand rulers and noblemen, exotic Siab bazaar.

| Day 11
|
Transfer to "Safari" yurt camp in Kyzyl-Kum desert (300 km, 5 h). On road excursion to the "Nur" sacred complex of source with sacred fishes, lunch in Nurata. Camel back riding and walking through the desert. Dinner in yurt camp at a fire place under bright oriental constellations. Overnight stay in yurts.

| Day 12
|
Rest on Aydarkul Lake in the desert. Transfer to Bukhara (250 km, 4 h). Walking along evening Bukhara.

|
Sightseeing in Bukhara: Chashma Ayub Mazar (graveyard) (XIV-XIX c.c.), Poi-Kalan complex (XI-XVI c.c.), Miri-Arab madrassah (XVI c.), Lyabi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII c.c.), Samanids’ Mausoleum (IX-X c.c.), Nadir Divanbegi Madrassah (XVI c.), Ark - ancient fortress (VI-VII c.c.), Chor-Minor (XVIII c.) minaret. Night train to Tashkent.

[07:00] arrival to Tashkent. Free time. Hotel.
