Motorcycling in the Tien-Shan (MTK 01)

The itinerary: Tashkent - Kokand - Tash-Kumir - Tohtogul - Susamir - Issyk-Kul lake – Sonkul lake – Dzhalalabad - Kokand - Samarkand - Tashkent

        The adventure tour based on usage of vintage Soviet-make URAL motorcycles equipped with a bob (BMW analogue) is carried out along roads and across mountain passes of Tien-Shan. Nearly 3000km-long tour opens for you a wonderful mountain country – Kyrgyzstan. You will be seeing alpine meadows, furious mountain rivers, mysterious high-mountain lake Song-Kul, awesome gigantic lake Issyk-Kul, snow-capped mountain peaks, getting yourselves acquainted with lifestyle and traditions of Kyrgyz nomads at their summer pastures. And in the end of the tour world-famous monuments and sights of ancient Samarkand will be waiting for you.
 

Trip profile: Motorbiking with escort car along 2,800km on tarmac and no-tarmac (ground and gravel) roads. Maximum height of mountain pass – 3,236m, daily runs 250-280 km-long.
