Fan Mountains is a unique district of Pamir-Alay mountain. It’s a mountain country of crystal lakes, the place of high peaks, many of them are more 5000m height, and interesting legends. Picturesque valleys, gorgeous necklaces of Kulikalon and Alautdin Lake, fantastically beautiful and attractive Chapdara, Big and Small Hansa, Kaznok, Chimtarga Miraly and Maria mountain peaks - it is really possible to leave a heart in this heavenly places.

After breakfast - Transfer from Tashkent to the Uzbek - Tajik border, the border post
After breakfast - Transfer from Tashkent to the Uzbek - Tajik border, the border post "Oybek (1,5 h; 100 km). Having received all the formalities (customs and border control), tourists are transferred to Tajik trucks. Transfer through Shakhristan pass (3378m) to the picturesque valley of Zarafshan River. During the way tourists make few stops in the most beautiful places for shoots of the mountains and numerous exotic mountain villages. Arrival to mountaineering camp "Artuch” (6 h, 350 km) in the evening. Rest and preparation for the active part of the track. Overnight in tents (2200m).

Starting active part of trek. Ascend along the good path to Kulikalon Lakes (10 km – the distance, passed during the day, +800 m – ascent to the height in meters from the place of overnight, 5 h – walking time during the day). On road there is an opportunity to admire a wonderful panorama of majestic Kulikalon walls with (Adamtash, Mirali, Rudaki, etc.) transcendental summits from more than 4000 m height, Kulikalon Lakes (totally 14 lakes) with the purest emerald-blue water. There is fish in these Lakes. The trail is the picturesque juniper forests. Camp on the shores of Lake Dushoha (3000 m). After lunch, walk around the lakes Kulikalon basin.

Ascent on Alaudin Pass (3860 m) and descent to Alaudin Lakes (7 km, 6 h, +860 m, -1060 m).

During the long ascent one can observe a panorama of Kulikalon Lakes, Chapdara Peak (5197 m) and the Valley of Chapdara River, bowls of amazing Alautdin Lakes with light blue to ultramarine waters. Camp at the lake shore (2800 m).

View on Kaznok (4 200 m), Zamok (5070 m), Energy (5120 m) and Chimtarga (5489 m) panoramas, sliding glaciers and abrupt rocks, small lake nicknamed for its round form "Piala", giant steps retreating glacier polished rock. High to the sky can be seen circling eagles. Return to camp.

A transition from Kulikalon Lakes through the pass Chukurak (3180 m). From pass you can see a colorful panorama of the Lakes Ziyorat and Chukurak. The descent to the lakes, and then traversing through the pass Guytan (2600 m) to village Zimtut. (+ 300 m - 1700 m, 7 hours, 17 kms.)
