Trip from Tashkent to Chimgan Mountains for Hiking

This interesting excursion will introduce you to one of the most beautiful places in the Tashkent region - the Chimgan Mountains.
The Chimgan Mountains are located just 80 kilometers from Tashkent in the Ugam-Chatkal National Natural Park. The peak of Big Chimgan (3308 m.a.s.l.) dominates over the vast area. The Amorsoy ski resort is also located here.
We offer a fascinating simple walk (hiking) to the Black and Red waterfalls located in the Aksai gorge.

Transfer to Chimgan
Transfer from Tashkent to the Amirsay ski resort, 1670m (90 km, 2 hours).
Ascent by chairlift to the observation point, 2300m. From here you can see a colorful panorama of the Karzhantau and Chatkal ridges, the valley of the Chirchik River, and a wonderful view of the Big Chimgan peak, 3309m - the dominant peak in this area.
Transfer to Chimgan to the Aksai gorge (20 min, 17 km).
(Hiking 6km; +440m, -440m; 3.5-4h). Walk up the Aksai gorge to the Black Waterfall and further to the Birch Grove and Red Waterfall, 2100m. There is still snow here until mid-June.
Picnic by the waterfall (packed lunch).
Return to the road. A bus awaits the group here. We load up, and after a 10-minute drive we find ourselves on the shore of the Charvak reservoir, where we can stop for a photo shoot. Transfer in 2 hours, and we are again in Tashkent.
