Baysun

Here guests will find houses decorated with magic suzane patterns, gold-embroidered chapans and all kinds of national clothing, hand-painted ceramic dishes on tables, bright celebrations of various events in human life. Tandoor cakes are made from flour ground by hand or in water mills. And the land is plowed with an ordinary plow with an ox or horse harnessed to it.

This place in the South of Uzbekistan is riddled with legends that lead us back to the time of Alexander the great, who left the dying soldiers near the source at the junction of Baisuntau and Hissar ridge, and on his return found them recovered. Today, the source, called "Omonkhona", is known throughout Uzbekistan and beyond for its mineral water with healing properties.

UNESCO has included the cultural space of the unique ethnographic region of BOISUN in the list of objects of intangible world heritage. Every year in Baisun there is a colorful international folk festival “Baisun bahori” (spring of Baisun).

In Baisun, everyone has the opportunity not only to look beyond the veil of another life, but also to take with them a piece of this world from the various products offered by local artisans with colorful embroidery, wonderful ceramics, and carved wood.

From Baisun, roads and mountain trails begin to the most interesting natural attractions of the region - the Grand Derbent canyon, the picturesque valley of the Machay river, the famous Teshiktash grotto (the site of Neanderthals), the Grand underground cave systems Dark Star and Festival, the deepest cave in Asia - Boybulok, Sangardak waterfall, fossilized dinosaur tracks on the range Khoja Gur Gur Ota.
