Krasnogorsk - Nevich - Shampan- Parkent
An interesting and exciting bike ride along the foothills of the Chatkal ridge of the South-Western Tien Shan in the area of famous grape and fruit farms and exotic mountain villages of Uzbekistan.
Cycling tour from «Asia Adventures», this is always an adventure, full of events and impressions. This is an active holiday, the joy of communicating with the nature of Uzbekistan and meeting new people. The bike group is supported by an escort car. Tired cyclists can ride part of the route in a car.
Transfer to Krasnogorsk. Bike ride. Return to Tashkent.
Transfer from Tashkent to the mountain village of Krasnogorsk (760m) in the spurs of the Chatkal Ridge (50km, 1.5 hours).
Biking (52km, ~5-6h, asphalt). Upon arrival in Kumyshkan, we unload the bikes and adjust them for each participant. The bike guide will give a briefing on the route and the basic safety measures of biking on mountain roads. Today we have to drive through the hills in the foothills of the Tien Shan, through the exotic mountain villages of Nevich, Shampan, Sukok, Zarkent. Here, under the gentle sun in Uzbekistan, the best varieties of wine grapes ripen. Tourists can taste wine in one of the houses of local residents. The highlight at the end of the bike ride is a tour of the unique Heliocomplex PHYSICS-SUN located in the village of Changi. Built in the 80s of the last century, the complex still impresses with its fantastic “space” view, reminiscent of either a launch pad or an alien station. Biking along low-loaded rural roads, fancifully winding along the foothills of the Chatkal Range, with magnificent panoramas of exotic mountain villages and vast vineyards, will remain in your heart for a long time. Transfer Parkent-Tashkent (45km, 1 hour).
