Ashgabat-Darvaza
After breakfast, visit the ruins of ancient Nisa (3rd century BC) – the residence of Parthian kings (a UNESCO site), majestic mosque and mausoleum of Turkmenbashi – the first president of Turkmenistan. Lunch at the Ahal-Teke horse farm (show, horse riding, possible riding on purebred Akhal-Tekes). After lunch, transfer through the sands of the Karakum Desert to the gas crater Darvaza (300 km, 5-6 hours). Upon arrival before sunset – accommodation in a yurt camp and barbecue dinner at the "Gates of Hell." An incredible mesmerizing spectacle, a sea of fire from hundreds of gas torches burning for over 50 years in a huge pit 20 meters deep and 60 meters in diameter.

Darvaza-Shavat Border Crossing
Transfer by jeep to the Uzbek border, checkpoint "Shavat" (320 km, 6-7 hours, poor road). Lunch on the way in Dashoguz (not included in the price). Border crossing (1-1.5 hours). Transfer to Khiva (50 km, 1 hour). Accommodation at the hotel. Rest.
