From Tashkent to Samarkand trip

An unforgettable excursion to Samarkand - one of the most ancient cities in the world, the same age as Rome, Athens and Babylon. In the Middle Ages, it was the center of the powerful empire of Tamerlane. The best paper in the world and excellent velvet, colored glass and silk were produced here. Today it is the second largest city in Uzbekistan with a population of over 600 thousand people. Samarkand carefully preserves its history and its main treasure - monuments of medieval architecture, many of which are protected by UNESCO as masterpieces of world heritage.
Just 2 hours on the road on a comfortable high-speed train AFROSIAB and you will find yourself in a fabulous city, where a guide will be waiting for you, who will conduct an unforgettable excursion to the most interesting monuments of Samarkand. In the evening on the same train, full of impressions, you will return to Tashkent.

- The magnificent Gur-Emir mausoleum (15th century), where Tamerlane, his sons and grandson Ulugbek are buried.
- Registan Square (14th-16th centuries) with 3 magnificent madrassas: Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tillya-Kori
- The grandiose Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque (15th century)

- Ulugbek Observatory (1420) – Tamerlane's grandson, a famous ruler and astronomer
- Shahi-Zinda (11th-18th centuries) - the necropolis of the rulers and nobility of Samarkand, consisting of many magnificently decorated mausoleums
