Climbing Chimgan (active part 10-12 hours). Return to Tashkent.
In the morning – early departure at 5:00am. From the Aksai gorge begins a long climb along a good trail to the Western ridge of Big Chimgan. As we gain altitude, more and more picturesque panoramas of the surrounding mountains open up, and right below us lies the Chimgan tract.
Alpine vegetation begins to predominate. After a few simple “gendarmes” we reach the grotto. We continue the route, overcoming the pre-summit rock belt.
Here is the peak - 3309m. It's usually windy here, but it's also very beautiful.
From Big Chimgan a magnificent 360° panorama opens up: Okhotnichiy Peak, kilometer-long faults of the legendary Pulatkhan plateau, a weather station on the Beldersay ridge, the turquoise surface of the Charvak reservoir, and the ridges of the Western Tien Shan - Ugamsky, Pskemsky, Chatkalsky, Karzhantau - in full view. After the photo shoot - descent into the Aksai gorge (along the ascent route).
Near the Chimgan complex, vehicles are already waiting for the group. We load up, and after a 20-minute drive we find ourselves on the shore of the Charvak reservoir. Sunset panoramas of Charvak, when the water of the lake smoothly changes its blue to orange color, are fantastically beautiful.
Transfer in 2 hours and we are again in Tashkent.
