The MAROQAND Show

The MAROQAND Show is a vibrant theatrical production that introduces guests of Samarkand to the history, culture, and traditions of Uzbekistan. Over the course of 60 minutes, the audience embarks on a fascinating journey through the history of the Great Silk Road, taking in colorful dances, traditional rituals, musical performances, and impressive multimedia sets.
The show features 25 professional artists—dancers, actors, and musicians—who bring ancient legends and traditions to life, transforming them into a modern stage show. Thanks to the combination of traditional costumes, modern scenography, lighting effects, and digital scenery, the performance is equally engaging for both adults and children.
