Arrival in Urgench.

 
Arrive in Urgench (30 km from Khiva) by flight HY-616 at 11:40-17:15.  Meeting and transfer to Khiva (~30km/40min).  Hotel accommodation and free time.

Excursion around Khiva.

 
Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:00 Excursion around Khiva: Ichan Kala fortress - an open-air city-museum protected by UNESCO: unfinished Kalta Minor minaret (XIX century);  Kunya-Ark fortress (XVII century) - the former official residence of the Khiva khans;  mausoleum of Pakhlavan Mahmud (XIV-XIX centuries);  Islam Khoja minaret (1908) – the highest minaret in Uzbekistan (51 m);  Juma mosque (X-XVIII centuries);  Tash-Khauli Palace (XVIII-XIX centuries).

Moving to Bukhara.

 
Breakfast in the hotel.  At 09:00 Transfer to Bukhara.  The landscape of almost the entire route to Bukhara (~480 km/7 hours) is represented by the dunes of reddish sand of the Kyzyl-Kum desert and the wriggling turquoise snake of the Amu Darya, the largest river in Central Asia.  There will be several stops along the way (photo stops) and a panoramic view from the observation deck on the banks of the Amu Darya.  Upon arrival in Bukhara, check into a hotel and rest.

Beginning of the walking excursion program in Bukhara.

 
Breakfast in the hotel.  At 09:00 the beginning of the walking excursion program in Bukhara: the Lyabi-Khauz complex (XVI-XVII centuries) - the “heart” of old Bukhara, includes the Nodir Divanbegi madrasah (XVII century), Kukeldash madrasah (XVI century) with a bronze sculpture of a sage  Khoja Nasreddin on a donkey;  the Poi-Kalyan complex (XII-XVI centuries), includes the Miri-Arab madrasah (XVI century), the Kalyan mosque (XV century) and the Kalyan minaret (XII century) 46.5 meters high;  Ark citadel (VII – XIX centuries) – the most ancient building of the city;  Mausoleum of the Samanids (IX - X centuries) - tomb of the rulers of Bukhara;  Mausoleum-sarcophagus Chashma-Ayub (XIV – XIX centuries);  trade domes of Bukhara (XVI century).

Transfer to Gijduvan.

 
Breakfast in the hotel.  At 09:00 Transfer to Gijduvan (50km/1.h).  On the way to the last summer country residence of the last emir of Bukhara - Sitora-i-MohiKhosa (XIX century).  In Gijdvan, we will be received in the house of the famous dynasty of ceramicists - the Narzullaevs (8 generations), where they will conduct a small master class on their craft, as well as a master class on preparing pilaf and flatbreads with the hospitable owners of the house.  After lunch, transfer to Samarkand (240 km/4 hours). Upon arrival in Samarkand, check into a hotel and rest.  In the evening (if desired) you can attend a solemn service in the Orthodox Cathedral of Samarkand - the Church of St. Alexis, Metropolitan of Moscow.

Excursion to ancient Samarkand.

 
Breakfast in the hotel.  At 09:00 the beginning of a fascinating tour of ancient Samarkand.  Visit to the historical center: the magnificent Gur-Emir mausoleum, in which Tamerlane, his sons and grandson Ulugbek are buried, the heart of the ancient city - Registan Square (Ulugbek Madrasah, Sher-Dor Madrasah, Tilla-Kori Madrasah).  After lunch, continue the excursion around Samarkand with a visit to historical monuments in different parts of the city: the Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque, the Shahi-Zinda necropolis, the Ulugbek Observatory.  After the excursion at 16:45, transfer to the station and transfer to Tashkent by high-speed train “Afrosiayu” 17:30-19:40.  Meeting and transfer to the hotel.  Accommodation and rest.  Departure from Samarkand is possible on 01/08/2019 on flight SU 1875 10:00-12:15 or N4 206 19:40-22:05.

Excursion program around Tashkent.

 
Breakfast in the hotel.  Excursion program in Tashkent: the old city, the architectural and religious complex Khast - Imam (Khazret - Imam), with the grandiose Friday mosque, the medieval mausoleum of Kaffal-Shashi (XVI century), Madrassah of Barak Khan and Kukeldash (XVI-XVII centuries)  , Islamic University, library in the Tila-Sheikh Mosque;  "Istiklol" square with Abdul Kasym madrasah (XVI-XVII centuries), monument of Alisher Navoi;  Amir Temur (Tamerlane) Square;  the monument “Courage” - a monument to the victims of the devastating Tashkent earthquake of 1966;  Opera and Ballet Theatre;  Mustakillik (Independence) Square with the Independence Monument;  eastern bazaar Chorsu, Timurid museum.  At 16:30 transfer to the airport and departure from Tashkent to Moscow (Vnukovo airport) on flight HY 601 19:05-21:25.
