The Miraki mountain resort is located in the foothills of the Gissar Mountains in the Kitab District of the Kashkadarya Region, 33 km from the famous historical city of Shahrisabz and 100 km from the legendary Samarkand.
Here, at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, on the banks of the mountain river Aksu, a modern all-season resort has been built with 3-4 star hotels and developed infrastructure (restaurants, a spa center, children's and concert venues). Along both banks of the river, there are pedestrian and cycling health paths (eco-trails) stretching over 10 km.
In addition to relaxing at the resort, tourists can visit the picturesque surroundings:
• Take a cable car to the observation deck at the adventure park above the Gissarak Reservoir dam. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains, stroll across a suspension bridge, ride on mega swings over the abyss, and go boating.
• Visit the majestic Suvtushar waterfall (15 km from Miraki).
• Explore the picturesque ethnic villages of Gelan, Kul, and Sarchashma (45 km from Miraki), where locals have preserved millennia-old traditions and the culture of their ancestors.
• Climb the holy mountain Hazret Sultan (4,083 m above sea level), located 90 km from Miraki.
