Interesting tour offers light cycling in different climate zones of Uzbekistan: mountains of the South-Western Tien-Shan in Ugam-Chatkal Natural Park, around the Charvak water reservoir, in the unique nature of Zaamin, in the area of the picturesque Nuratau ridge near Aydarkul Lake. You will ride your “iron steed” going through vineyards, gardens, exotic mountain villages. You will see traditional life and culture of Uzbek people; enjoy the taste of Uzbek cuisine meals. After the cycling, you will face famous medieval monuments of ancient cities of Uzbekistan: Bukhara and Samarkand together with city tour along the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent city.

Meeting at Tashkent airport.

Accommodation in hotel (early check-in is not included in the price).
Excursion in Tashkent in the afternoon: Old city including complex Khast-Imam, madrasah Barak-Khan (XVI C.), mausoleum of Yunus-Khan, mausoleum of Kafal-Shashi (XVI C), Kukeldash madrassah (XVIII), Independence Square, Peoples' Friendship Square, Subway, the National Theatre of opera and ballet. Night in the hotel.
Excursion of Tashkent 15:00-18:00, at 18:00 a briefing at the hotel.

Transfer from Tashkent to the mountain village Nevich at the spurs of Chatkal ridge. Cycling

We will drive through the hills at the footsteps of Tien-Shan, through exotic mountain villages Nevich, Sanginek, Sukok and Zarkent, where under the warm sun in Uzbekistan grow the best sorts of the grape. Tourists can taste the wine in one of the houses of the locals. Accommodation in a guesthouse in Kumishkan village (1300 m).

Cycling

Cycling Kumishkan – Changi – Parkent – Karamanas towards the Ugam-Chatkal National Park. The road passes through the picturesque villages around the ridge Surenata.
Along the way tourists will take a tour of the unique PHYSICS–SUN Heliocomplex
(Solar Furnace) located in Changi village. Built in the 80s of the last century, the complex still amazes with its fantastic “space” view, reminiscent of either a launch pad or an alien station, see the link: http://centralasia-adventures.com/en/sights/geliokompleks_fizika_solntce.html 
Along the road there are great views of the mountains and the surroundings.
If the participants wish, this route can be further extended by ~30 km to Gazalkent.
Transfer by bus to the mountains of the South-Western Tien-Shan (70 km, 1.5 hours). Accommodation in the hotel on the shore of the Charvak water reservoir (1020 m).

Transfer Avenue Park-Beldersay

A cable car excursion in Amirsay is possible (not included in the price).
Cycling Beldersay-Avenue Park (30 km, 2-3 h including photo shoots).
Then lunch at the hotel and rest with swimming in the pool and a walk to the Charvak reservoir if desired.

Cycling Hotel Avenue Park – Chatkal river – Brichmulla – Koksu river – Bogustan – Pskem river – Nanay – Sijak – Charvak

Early start, ~ at 8:00. The route runs along Charvak mountain reservoir to the village of Nanai, crossing the bridges of the Chatkal, Koksu and Pskem rivers. Then climb up to Sijak village, taking photos at the upper viewing point of the route above the water reservoir and a spectacular descent to the town of Charvak (-510 m). Panorama of Charvak water reservoir and mountains of South-Western Tien-Shan during the bike will be unforgettable. Lunch at the traditional cafe.
Transfer to Tashkent (70 km, 1,5 hours).

Transfer Tashkent - mountain Zaamin reservoir (220 km, 4 h). Lunch on the way to Zaamin village.

Cycling from the mountain Zaamin reservoir in the direction of the Turkestan ridge to the Zaamin National Natural Park (30 km, -370m, +460m.  Asphalt 70%, dirt road 30%) - if the participants wish, this route can be further extended by 10-20 km. Transfer to Suffa Plateau (+ 500m, 10km, 30min).

Cycling via Suffa Plateau-International Observatory

Transfer Bakhmal - Jizzakh (85 km, 2 h). Hotel.

Transfer Jizzakh-Ortacheku rocks. Cycling Ortacheku rocks-Asmansay

Lunch in the Asmansay yurt camp. Rest, swimming in the pool, evening walk in the mountains. Yurts.

Cycling Asmansay – Hayat

After the breakfast, we go along Nuratau ridge to picturesque Hayat village.  First we have a long descent along a rural road to Yangikishlak town along the hills area.  Lunch. Then we will go up the dirt road to the village of Hayat. Overnight at homestay (960m). Final of the cycling part.
Homestay. Each house has 2-3 rooms with square from 6 to 20 m2, in which from 2 to 6 tourists can be accommodated. There are no any beds in the houses of local people and by traditions the people sleep on the special mattresses on the floor. The bed is laid before sleeping, rolled up in the morning and laid up at one of the walls of the room. The bed set is included: mattress, bed-sheets, blankets, pillows, towels. Toilet and shower are outside in the yard. A garden with fruit-trees is attached to each house. Food is prepared on firewood in special fireplaces, and bread (flat round national bread) is prepared in special earthenware stoves – tandyrs. Tourists can watch and take part in the process of food preparing.
Meals. It is prepared from traditional products by the hostess of the house. Fruits, vegetables are from own kitchen garden as a rule. The dishes are from Uzbek cuisine in general: vegetable soups with previous fried and then boiled meat, dishes from pastry, traditional Uzbek plov (rice, meat, vegetables), potatoes fried meat (beef, mutton), damlyama (ragout from stewed vegetables). Sweets are given for tea.
 In the evening, you can take a walk to see Severtsov's sheep - they are bred and protected in Nurata National Reserve.

Transfer Hayat-Majerum - Nurata - Bukhara. Hotel.

Along the way there is a possibility to visit exotic village Madzerum (5 km from the main road, +180 m, -180 m) – here you can see the largest of the millennial trees of the Nuratau Natural Reserve – Biota Orientalis. Madzherum archa (eastern biota) - a natural monument, grows on the territory of the Nurata Reserve. Age, according to various sources, from 1100 to 1500 years. The girth of the trunk is about 24 meters, the girth of the central branch is 12 meters. Nearby are the ruins of a mosque and an ancient village. Three huge branches of a tree under their own weight almost lie on the ground. Although it is difficult to call them branches, they are rather huge trunks that several people can stand on at the same time. The trunks support cairns made by the locals. A mosque was located next to the giant tree. Numerous pilgrims to this day go to archa-biota to ask God for mercy and fulfillment of desires. Multi-colored rags and scarves hang on the branches - offerings of female pilgrims asking the holy place for health, family well-being, longevity, healthy and numerous offspring. The tree is especially popular with those women who cannot conceive. It is believed that if a pilgrim crawls under one of the three branches-trunks and ties a scarf on a branch, then the child is guaranteed in due time. The holy place is also interesting as a relic of the ancient pre-Islamic beliefs of the peoples who lived in these parts. The deification of local patron spirits, "masters" of the area is one of the manifestations of animalistic beliefs of almost all peoples of the world.

Sightseeing in Samarkand

Registan square - the "heart" of Samarkand - ensemble of 3 majestic medreses (XIV-XVI c.c.) – Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tillya Qory, the grandiose cathedral Bibi-Khanum Mosque (XV c.), Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XV c.), where Tamerlan, his sons and a grandson Ulugbek buried.
Overnight at the hotel.

Continue the excursion in Samarkand

Tamerlan’s grandson Ulugbek’s the well-known ruler and astronomer-scientist observatory (1420 y.) - the remains of an immense (30 m. tall) astrolabe for observing stars’ position, Shakhi-Zinda – “The Living King” (XI-XVIII c.c.) Necropolis of Samarkand rulers and noblemen, consisting of set of superb decorated mausoleums, exotic Siab bazaar.
After lunch - transfer from Samarkand to Tashkent (350 km, 5 hours).
