Uzbekistan - Oriental Fairy Tale (CUZ 03)

Arrival in Tashkent by any comfortable flight for you. (for example, flight UzAirWays HY604 Moscow-Tashkent 11:15-17:05). Meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Breakfast in hotel. At 09:00, meeting the guide in the lobby of the hotel. Excursion in Tashkent: old city, architectural and cultural complex Khast-Imam (Khazrat-Imam), with great Friday mosque, the medieval mausoleum Kaffal Shashi (XVI century), Barak-khan medrese, Islam university and library in Tilla-sheikh mosque; Eastern bazaar Chorsu, Kukeldash medrese (XVI-XVII centuries); “Drujba Narodov” (Friendship of nations) square, Abdulkosim medrese (XVI-XVII centuries), Alisher Navoi monument; Amir Temur (Tamerlane) square; “Mujestvo” (Courage) monument - the monument in memory of those who died during an earthquake in 1966; “Mustaqillik” (independence) square with the independence monument; Alisher Navoi theatre of Opera and Ballet; Museum of applied arts. At 18:00 transfer to train station and transfer to Samarkand by “Afrosiab” high-speed train 18:50-21:00. Meeting at the railway station and transfer to hotel.

Breakfast in hotel. At 09:00 meeting the guide in the lobby of the hotel. Excursion in Samarkand: “heart” of Samarkand – Registan square (XIV-XVI centuries) with 3 famous medreses: Sherdor, Ulugbek and Tilla-Kori, the great Bibi-Khanum mosque (XV century), wonderful Gur-Emir mausoleum, in which Tamerlane, his sons and his grandson Ulugbek are buried. Observatory of Mirzo Ulugbek (1420), Shakhi-Zinda necropolis (XI-XVIII centuries), exotic Siab bazaar.

Breakfast in hotel. At 09:00 transfer Samarkand-Gijduvan-Bukhara (280km/4-5 hours). In Gijduvan, we will see the house of the renowned dynasty of masters in pottery - the Narzullaevs (8 generations), where they will hold a small master class on their craft, as well as a master class on cooking pilaf and flat cakes. Lunch. At 14:30 our excursion program in Bukhara will start: Lyabi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII centuries)- the “heart” of old Bukhara; Nodir Divanbegi medrese (XVII century); Kukeldash medrese (XVI century) with bronze sculpture of sage Khudja Nasriddin on donkey; Poi-Kalyan complex (XII-XVI century), includes Miri-Arab medrese (XVI century), Kalyan mosque (XV century) and Kalyan minaret (XII century) with the height of 46,5 m; trade domes of Bukhara (XVI century).

The excursion in Bukhara continuous: Ark Citadel (VII – XIX centuries) – the oldest building in the city; Samanids mausoleum (IX – X centuries) - tomb of the rulers of Bukhara; Chashma Ayub Mausoleum-sarcophagus (XIV - XIX centuries); Chor-Minor medrese (XVIII century)- complex with 4 minarets; Sitora-i-Mokhi Khosa (XIX century) – summer countryside residential of the last emir of Bukhara and memorial complex of Bakhouddin Nakshbandi. Transfer to airport and flight from Bukhara to Moscow by HY 607 at 16:50 or 19:20 (depending on the schedule of flights).​
